Little challenge this week of making weight. I didnt really have any intentions to lose this much, only to drop a couple kilos of water weight. Though method proved pretty effective! Disclaimer: I do not however know of the after effects of such a change and will be regaining my weight immediately after comp. My husband and I have had this ongoing argument over whether or not you can shape glutes that aren't meant to be shaped into much. One of my 2018 goals is to see if it is possible. I am not genetically endowed to have much in this area. This is the area I need to develop, and that is my focus this year in the gym. I'm feeling a lot stronger in my lower back and in my legs. Like so many women, I struggled to like my body. I was not always confident; I compared myself to women in magazines, girls in the P.E locker room, teammates that I played volleyball and ran track with. When I was barely a teenager I would track my macros, waaaaayyyyy before that was a thing. I was obsessive about what I was putting into my body- or at least the numerical value. I’ve come a long way but I’d be lying if I said I never (keyword) compare my body to other women’s. I love my body, I love what it’s capable of, I love that I housed and brought a beautiful daughter into this world and I love that I can get competitively lean and jacked! I love that I can inspire and motivate other women! I love that other women motivate and inspire me ☺️ I love eating for me, what I want, when, and NOT tracking numbers... even on prep I don’t track my numbers (I refuse to as it triggers old behavior)- I do however, follow a competition plan and make sure my measurements are accurate. The last year and change has been my best “off season”: I lift and train FOR ME 🖤 I challenge and push myself but also take it easy and don’t have an ounce of guilt or shame. My heart and head are in healthy places which was my only goal after the last time I stepped on stage. Today I’m just over here living the best life I can, keeping my waistline small and my ass and thighs thick 🙌🏼 Current Measurements: Because that 1st picture can look deceiving 😂 - chest (not pictured): 32” - waist: 26” - fullest part around my glutes: 37” - thickest part of my thighs: 23.5” - last known weight: 133lbs about a month ago I weighed myself They say the average woman is 5’4” with a 34”-35” waist and weighs between 140-150 lbs. #bodypositive #womenempowerment #flawedandflawless #healthy #morethananumber #fitness #fitnessmotivation #happy #slimwaist #fatasss #thickwhitegirl #aworkinprogress #grateful
