So this morning I did the craziest HIIT workout 😅💦 I haven’t done HIIT (high intensity interval training) in a while so I was absolutely DYING... I actually had to go to the bathroom halfway through and just sit down in there (and it was sit in the bathroom or sit on the leg press but I basically couldn’t even look at the leg press without feeling even more exhausted ha). I have a love/hate relationship with HIIT, I love what it does for my abs but I feel like death during (and sometimes after too 😬). BUT if you’re weird like me and want to feel like you’re going to drown in your own sweat too, this is what I did today: . (Walk for 10mins to warm up) . Circuit 1: Treadmill sprints: -1 minute sprinting as fast as you can (if you wanna die extra slap an incline on that bad boy (I did incline 14 and speed on level 10... you should feel like it’s a struggle to complete the 30 secs) -Jump your legs to the sides of the treadmill and rest for 30sec-1 minute. Repeat 5 times! . Circuit 2: 30 sec squat jumps 30 sec star jumps (jumping jacks) 30 sec plank 30 sec tuck jumps 30 sec bike abs With 10 second breaks in between each. . If you’re a crazy badass you can then repeat circuit 1 and 2 another time each! That’s what I did and the sweat puddle was for realises 🤗 PS HOW CUTE are all these crops by @xxivactive ?? I wore the top one for this HIIT workout and it was adorable and kept everything in place too 🎉🎉🎉

I was sooooo tired this morning... we were up the hospital attending the “more than words” course (and will be for the next few months) so we are better equipped to help Hudson with his social and communication difficulties, so we didn’t go to bed until much later than usual 😴 But it’s Friday which means Challenge day Queens!! 👸🏋️‍♀️ and it went down at 5am-ish 😬 . Circuit 1: I liked the look of it, pushed myself on the weights front but took me forever. I might be crazy but I kinda loved the inch worm push ups, we used to do them all the time in our Muay Thai warm ups. Circuit 2: was a bit more apprehensive but SMASHED IT! Circuit 3: LOVE LOVE LOVED IT Circuit 4: much harder than I thought it was gonna be. My abs are clearly not as strong as they once were and I smashed my knees with my weights in the v sit ups 😖 Great Friday challenge!! And a great way to finish the working week... not that I have a working week because #mumlife is 24/7 right, but the workout week 🏋️‍♀️ although I’m sure I’ll sneak a little more yoga in somewhere 🧘‍♀️ Who’s done it already? This was me for years and years..... And I wasn't one of those women who thought, "i work out ... I can eat whatever I want" ---- 🙁🙁🙁 It was an awful cycle of getting on a "diet" aka "eating clean, mindful eating, etc. " and I was going to be PERFECT!!! .... Well we all know how that goes 😕 ... Lots of depriving, overtraining, and bingeing 😫👎🏼 ..... I did it for years and never knew how or what to do to get out of it!! ••• It might sound silly to some, but going on my program has made me a better mom, a better wife, a better friend. It propelled me forward to start a business where I can help others!! It changed me!!! When you take care of yourself you can help those around you. Sooooahhhh we have another winter wonderland! So I️ settled for BBG legs and it always amazes me how impactful 30 minutes can be! My tush all the way down to my calves are quite sensitive. I️ have been running for 3 weeks and although there have been no changes in my weight there have been positive changes in my endurance. I️ completed BBG strong! •••SUPERBERRY POWERBALLS RECIPE••• Ingredients: -1 c whole grain oats -1 c @idealraw superberry protein powder -1 c unsweetened coconut flakes -3/4 c blueberries -1/4 c honey -1 tsp vanilla -1 Tbsp almond butter -1 Tbsp flaxseed -2/3 c almond 🥛 milk DIRECTIONS: version 1: throw everything {except 1/4 if the coconut flakes set to the side to roll your balls in} into a bowl and either mix and mash with your hands like I did or you can put it in a kitchen aid. Then make 1 inch balls {scoop or use your hands} and roll them in the extra coconut. Place them on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper. Stick them in the fridge for 30 min. What's scary for me is when I get messages from people how I got results over night, how to target one area of their body how to have a quick fix. In reality I'm still learning about my own body, I have terrible IBS and every day I have to be so careful what I eat. Every body and everybody is different. What works for me might not work for you but what I can tell you is that hard work gets results 🎢 you don't need to work out for 3 hours a day, just 30 minutes 5 times a week is plenty and even if you can't manage that it's a lot more than most people can do. These pictures show 3 years of change in my body and I'm slowly learning the exercises that give me the best results. I started by following BBG for 8 months and I still followed it until last week but I did one of the resistance rounds per week and then I did my own exercises and two HIIT classes a week as I found that this is more effective for my body. This week I have started @kelseywells PWR programme and I love it!!
