It's officially announced Congratulations to our Son Kekoa who made the Junior Men World Team for Team USA Weighltlifting in his 62 kg category, as thier team will travel International which is half way around the world to Tashkent, Uzbekistan this summer to compete & represent our country! what a dream come true for him who ever thought he will be traveling the world! So proud of this kid who works so hard for what he believes in and never gave up! It's been a tough road but he never gave up and now he is officially part of the Junior World Team USA! They say trust your journey even if you don't understand it and live the American dream! Big thank you to his coach @wildbilllift for working with him day after day to get him where he is today as they start thier journey together! 18.1 in the books. I got 220 reps prescribed, not too bad for my first open in 2 years. My advice for this workout: pace yourself early. Busy through the hard stuff, active rest on the easy. My grip was shot towards the end, so to keep my pace, I would do single toes to bar instead of hanging on the bar and wasting more of my grip. I busted through the hang C&J’s then did an active rest on the rows. Don’t ever sell yourself short; go all out the whole time and you’ll surprise yourself.
