The common denominator in nearly all of the videos demonstrating the standing versions is the presence of compensation. A little twist in your thoracic spine, a little extra movement through the hip, knees, or ankles and "magically" you have functional shoulder ROM. However, if you put yourself in a position where you aren't able to compensate...... the truth comes out. This is one of the best positions for application of shoulder CARs as it buttresses the ribcage, spine and rest of the body against the floor while allowing for a far more authentic shoulder rotation. 18 days of #norestdays January and I feel awesome. 🙅‍♀️No bloat pudgy feeling, feeling slender again, YAAASSSSS 🙌🙌 Tonight I decided on steady state training and walked. Got a little puff up but did my 30 minutes, yeah yeah! 😉👌 I am loving this regular routine of some form of exercise everyday! First shift at my new job went ok. Til it was time to close up. What boss doesn't tell her new employee the proper protocol on how to close. Made me feel like a dumbshit when asking front counter staff and they're like "why you not know this?!" Anyway, lesson learned and knowledge I'll have for next week. Happy Saturday Folks ✌💕
