Baby steps. Here is to a healthier me in 2018. But for real. For someone that never works out this feels pretty on point. Anyone else learning to live a healthier life style?

They both worked for the same summer camp and for four years Kaylynn dreamt of marrying Drew. It may have taken this guy a little longer to realize this friendship was love but only a few short months ago the two decided to start dating. I remember the day that Kaylynn told me she had news to tell me. They had both walked to the park and shared their first kiss. If there is one thing that will take me out of "retirement for one day" it was when she told me he proposed and I knew. In that very same spot on New Years day no less. I couldn't imagine a more perfectly (freezing our butt off) spot to capture their beautiful engagement photos. Congrats the both of you! I give you the future Mr. & Mrs. Woznick. @kaylynn_ovell

Feeling as if I’m living in a snow globe today. Snow makes all things feel new, am I right? No resolutions for 2018, but I am declaring a healthier life style. Wish me luck.

A bittersweet day today as these two go back to school tomorrow. Letting go of the struggling morning routine for a week and a half was absolute bliss. Time to get back at it. On the plus side. I’ll have 3 days to myself as I’m still on break 😉.

Today Marks the end of an era. One that lasted 9 years. #karahanesphotography is officially closed. Although this may seem like such a huge deal, there are so many exciting things to come this year. Thanks for a good run!

She pulled up in to my lap and laid her paw under my arm as if she were a teddy bear. We both sat and watched as Ben (my husband) completed our daughter’s room today. This girl is 11 years old yet she still acts like a puppy. Her only struggle is the inability to successfully leap onto our bed each time. For Christmas we bought her doggie steps. (Yup I caved) and she’s terrified of them. If only she knew. 😂 #phoebehanes #teachinganolddognewtricks #werethosekindofpetowners

Last night I was blessed with the flu but this morning my only Christmas wish was for it to stop. I feel better but my back aches. Today I was reminded of everything to be thankful for and what God has done in my life. Today I give thanks for the opportunities to share my story and how God has worked in my life. I wish you the all the best. Merry Christmas!

Throwing it back to my precious girl who constantly challenges me and to my love who encourages me and keeps me grounded. He is the best daddy and I wouldn’t want to partner with anyone else.

Sitting in the quiet is one thing I appreciate. Reflecting on the past, present and future and praying for those who are struggling in each of these.

As I waited for my kids to get off the bus yesterday I was just in awe of the beautiful snow and how it reminded me of the song "Every Season" by Nicole Nordeman. It's one of my favorites. go ahead and click the link in my bio to listen and just ponder the photo and drink in the lyrics.

Saturday morning has got me wanting to stay in bed all day. These two on the other hand not so much. They sure are the best to snuggle with. What is your typical Saturday morning?

Yesterday was our first official dumping of snow. I had to stop and admire it even though it put me in a ditch. Can’t wait to get my car back with all wheel drive. Enjoy this little winter wonderland.

These girls mean so much to me. Tonight we sat in our usual circle and discussed life. We talked about how "likes" and "followers" don't define who you are but that the most important things are who you impact. Let me ask you something. Who are you reaching and for what purpose? Are you hoping that someone will stumble upon your insta and want to be just like you? Or are you posting to inspire, challenge or leave behind a little bit of who you really are? I want my kids to stumble upon this someday and remember who I really am, not what the pretty boxes show. Double tap if you agree! 🙌🏻 #flooddaybreak

Some day I'll look back on this time of my life and be glad that I'm cutting back to spend more time with these two special kiddos. I love photography but I'm being called to a greater purpose. If you haven't heard the news click the link in my bio to read all about it. 📸 by @danycphotography
