Just when we thought Sunday couldn’t get any better, we had this for lunch 🥗😋 The best feeling ever is waking up this morning knowing we don’t have any schoolwork because finals are finally over 🙌🏻 With that extra free time we made this awesome salad! We combined chopped lettuce, Napa cabbage, shredded carrots, sliced almonds, crispy wontons, and cilantro. We mixed with Asian sesame dressing and topped with teriyaki marinated flank steak and sesame seeds! 🥩🥗 We don’t always eat red meat, but when we do we enjoy every bite! Flank steak, and other cuts of steak, are great sources of iron, vitamin B12, and protein of course 💪🏻 Highly recommend this salad it’s filling and has amazing flavor. Changing it up from a classic parfait! Best case scenario 🙌🏻😍 This week we made a crockpot recipe to decrease our time in the kitchen so we had more time for studying 🤓 We bought a 3 pound beef chuck roast and seasoned it with paprika, cumin, chili powder, oregano, white onion, tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Stuck it in the crockpot and ten hours later we had this FABULOUS meal 😋 While we definitely limit how much red meat we eat, we sure do love a good piece of beef. When your pasta has enough greens to fulfill your daily dose of veggies 🙌🏻🍝 We were craving our favorite homemade meat sauce so we decided why not make it?! 😋 All we do is combine a pound of organic lean ground turkey with chopped onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, fresh spinach, and tonight we used @cucinafresca pasta sauce because we didn’t have the ingredients at the time to make our own sauce (which we prefer to do). @cucinafresca is a great alternative when you’re in a hurry because it’s non GMO, gluten free (for those that are intolerant), and has no added sugars. Welcoming thanksgiving break with a big side of yummy, colorful Asian veggies 🤩😋 Whenever we’re in need of some dinner inspiration this is one of our favorite go-tos! All we did was sautée carrots, onions, snap peas, cabbage, and edamame in a combo of toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, sriracha, oyster sauce, red wine vinegar and salt and pepper. We then topped it off with a heavy sprinkle of sesame seeds and red pepper flakes 🥕🥦🤤 The best part about this dish?
